John Mahar Obituary

John P. Mahar passed away on Saturday April 13, 2024, he was 44. 

Mr. Mahar of King of Prussia was a graduate of Upper Merion high school. After high school, John worked at the movie theater for a while until his health prevented it. John was born with Spina Bifida and even though he used a wheelchair, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved doing crafts of all kinds and playing games on his Xbox.  He had many friends on facebook. He loved music of all kinds, paranormal shows and never missed Monday NightRaw


John was born in Norristown on November 12, 1979 and is the son of James and Sharon (Schinnerer) Mahar of King of Prussia. 
He is also survived by his brother Peter wife Mary Kay Mahar. 
Three sisters Kathy husband Jim Blanks, 
Tricia husband, Ken, Weber, Jennifer Mahar and  Rik Heverly.
Seven nieces and two nephews. 
John was especially fond of his cat Bongo. 

Relatives and friends are invited to John viewing  on Friday, April 19 from 9:15 to 10:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Mother of  Divine Providence Church Allendale Road,  King of Prussia. Burial will follow in Calvary cemetery, Conhohocken. 

Family request Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Mother of Divine providence Church King of Prussia. 
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home, East Norriton.
